ALBERT, MARK H. SR.

Mark Henderson Albert, Sr., age 81, died Friday, January 24, 1992 at his home. He was a lifelong resident of McCoy and was preceded in death by his wife Dorthy McCoy Albert. Surviving are; five daughters and sons-in-law, Eleanor and Charles King, Eula and Kenneth Akers, Emily and Jerry Oliver, all of Christiansburg; Edna (Kitty) and John Collins, Radford; Estelle Meredith, East Troy, Wis.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mark (Mac) and Sandy Albert, Christiansburg; Mitchell and Diana Albert, McCoy; one sister, Dolly Dillon, and two sisters-in-law, Lotus Albert and Claudine Albert, all of McCoy; fourteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, at Centennial Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). The Rev. Gordon M. Lee will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Centennial Christian Church Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 427, McCoy, Va. 24111. The family will receive friends Saturday, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
