TERM FOR WOUNDING SUSPENDED IN WYTHE

A 60-year-old Wythe County man has received a five-year suspended sentence for the unlawful wounding of a man he shot nearly a year ago.

Trial for Cecil Price Groseclose of Crockett was held Tuesday. He was charged with shooting Charles Edward Harden, 37, last February in an argument over $100. He was ordered to make restitution to Harden.
