OWNER OF COMPANY FOR SUPPLIES DIES

Roy T. Holcomb, founder of State Office Supply Inc. in downtown Roanoke, died Thursday. He was 88 and had been active in his business until last year.

Holcomb was a member of several civic clubs, including the Kiwanis Club of Roanoke, the Optimist Club, and the Knights of Pythias. Survivors include his wife, June B. Holcomb; a daughter, Nancy Fisher of Salem; and a son, Tommy Holcomb of Roanoke.

Funeral services are at 1 p.m. today at at Oakey's South Chapel.
