THANKS TO SO MANY FOR HELP AT CHRISTMAS

The Voluntary Action Center of Montgomery County and Radford wishes to acknowledge and thank publicly the following groups for their outstanding efforts on behalf of local children from low-income families. These groups, recruited and coordinated by VAC, generously sponsored Christmas parties that included games, decorations, refreshments, holiday music and special gifts. More than 1,300 volunteers made this Christmas a happy one for 840 community children. We are most grateful to:

\ Community Groups: Blacksburg Alumnae Delta Sigma Theta, Blacksburg Church of Christ, Blacksburg Junior Women's Club, Christiansburg Kiwanis Club, Luther Memorial Lutheran Church, Montgomery Regional Hospital, Mormon Church Group, St. Paul AME Church, St. Paul United Methodist Church.

\ Virginia Tech Groups: Arnold Air Society, Beta Theta Pi/Delta Gamma, German Club, Highty-Tighties, Horticulture Club, Kappa Sigma/Kappa Delta, Pi Kappa Alpha, Residence Hall Federation, Sigma Phi Epsilon.
