Laura W. Schuermann and Bryan K. Kraft are engaged and planning to be married October 24, 1992. She is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Schuermann of Roanoke. She was graduated from Cave Spring High School and Radford University. She is employed by Orvis Company. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald F. Kraft of Dalton, Ohio. He was graduated from Dalton High School, Haywood Technical College and Catawba Valley Community College. He is employed by Hickory Manufacturing Company in Hickory, N.C.
