SUTPHIN ANNIVERSARY

Everett Ewing Sutphin and Roberta Lee Hedrick Sutphin were honored on January 26 with a reception at Fairlawn Grace Brethren Church in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.

They were married on January 21, 1942, in Pulaski, Virginia, by the Rev. Bert Hazelton.

The Sutphins have four children. They are Mrs. Stephen P. (Carol) Smith, of Durham, N.C.; Everett Lee (Bucky) Sutphin, of Vinton; Bobby Lynn Sutphin, of Pulaski; and Mrs. Larry R. (Donna) Forrester, of Roanoke. They have 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

They were married in Pulaski and have resided there all through their marriage.
