WADE, GEORGE W.

Deacon George W. Wade, age 95, formerly of Salem, Va., died Thursday at McGuire Medical Center in Richmond. He is survived by his devoted wife, Bertha Wade, Buckingham; two daughters, Lelia Lee and Gladys Glover; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday from Shiloh Baptist Church, Salem, with interment in C.C. Williams Memorial Park, Salem. The Rev. E.H. Glaspie, pastor, will officiate. Military services will be provided by V.F.W. Post 1264. The remains will lie in state at the church from 12:00 until the hour of service. Arrangements by the Carl U. Eggleston Funeral Service of Farmville.
