COPENHAVER, ELIZABETH T.Elizabeth Tyler Copenhaver, died Friday, January 24, 1992 in Marion, Va. She was the widow of Colonel John Kelly Copenhaver, U.S. Army, retired. She graduated from the Marion College and attended graduate school at the University of Chicago. She taught in several school systems in Virginia and Maryland prior to her marriage to Colonel Copenhaver. She maintained residences in Richmond, Va. and in Seven Mile Ford, Va. She was a member of Magna Charta Dames, Order of First Families of Va. and the Women's Club of Richmond, Va. She is survived by five nieces and nephews, Mr. Carter B. Tyler of St. Petersburg, Fla.; Mrs. Anne T. Hadlock of Cookesville, Tenn.; Mrs. Mary T. Faruki of Alexandria, Va.; Mr. George R. Tyler of Arlington, Va.; Mr. William S. Tyler of Pensacola, Fla. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 27, 1992 at the Newberry Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Goerge T. Wingard officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 28, 1992, at the Riverview Cemetery in Richmond, Va. There will be no public visitation. The family suggests that memorial donations be made to the Forest View Rescue Squad in Richmond, Va. or to a favorite charity. Newberry Funeral Home in Chilhowie, Va. is in charge of the arrangements.
