BARNHART, MARIE R.

Marie Ruffin Barnhart, age 74, of Hopewell, Va., died January 25, 1992, in MCV Hospital, Richmond, Va. She is survived by her husband, Samuel H. Barnhart Jr. of the home; two brothers, Col. (Ret.) George C. Ruffin Jr. of Fairfax, Va.; Julian B. Ruffin of Alamo, Texas; a niece, Patricia R. House of Suffolk, Va.; three nephews, Julian B. Ruffin Jr. of Papillion, Neb.; J. William Ruffin of Fairfax, Va.; Charles V. Ruffin of Overland, Park, Kansas. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 1992, at 2:00 p.m. in Merchants Hope Cemetery with the Rev. Canon Sherman S. Newton, recently priest in charge of Merchants Hope Church, officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Merchants Hope Church, 11500 Merchants Hope Road, Hopewell, Va., 23860 or Prince George Emergency Crew, P.O. Box 36, Prince George, Va., 23875. The family is being served by the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morris and Son Funeral Home.
