Michael Nash Adams, 50, died Saturday at his home, Route 6, Haynesworth Lane, Bassett. He was born in Patrick County, May 24, 1941. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Lester Adams and his brother, Norman Adams. He was employed by the U.S. Army Corp. of Engineers, working at Philpott Dam. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of Henry Baptist Church. Surviving are, his wife, Linda Prillaman Adams, of the home; his mother, Bessie L. Kuczinski, Martinsville; a son, Dwayne M. Adams, Stuart; stepson, Andrew Lee Parker, Henry; grandson, Michael D. Adams, Stuart. The remains will be taken to Henry Baptist Church at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at the church with interment in the Prillaman Family Cemetery. Rev. Arnold Terry will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements by Collins Funeral Service, Bassett. .
