CAVE SPRING TWINS WIN TRACK MEET EVENTS

Twin brothers Ronde and Tiki Barber of Cave Spring each won an event at the Virginia Tech Invitational track meet Saturday.

Ronde Barber was first in the 55-meter hurdles, with a time of 7.42 seconds. Tiki Barber won the long jump with a leap of 23 feet, 5 inches.

Cave Spring's 800-meter relay team (Ronde Barber, Tiki Barber, Chris Vaughan and Travis Manning) finished sixth. - Staff report
