ROBERTSON, SARAH W.

Mrs. Sarah Waid Robertson, age 89, of 746 W. Franklin Street, died Saturday, January 25, 1992, at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel E. Robertson, and a son, Joseph B. Robertson. She was a member of the Rocky Mount Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, Paul M. Robertson and Samuel R. Robertson, both of Rocky Mount; two daughters, Mrs. Alfred E. (Helen) Tisdale Jr. of Mt. Pleasant, S.C. and Mrs. E. Ward (Gertrude) Reed of Knoxville, Tennessee; one sister, Mrs. John T. Honeywell of Albion, Michigan; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in Lynch Chapel with Dr. Joe R. Bryant officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Friends may call at Lynch Funeral Home after 2:00 p.m. Monday where the family will be from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and other times at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel R. Robertson, 98 Dillard Lane, Rocky Mount. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to the Franklin County Rescue Squad.
