PROSTITUTE GUILTY IN 1ST HIGHWAY KILLING TRIAL
A prostitute was found guilty Monday in the slaying of the first of seven men whose bodies were found along Florida highways.The jury will begin deciding today whether to recommend a death sentence for Aileen Wuornos, 35.
She was convicted of first-degree murder and felony murder in the killing of businessman Richard Mallory in 1989.
No trial dates have been set in the other four slayings with which Wuornos is charged. Two similar killings still are under investigation. - Associated Press
