MINORITIES TOPIC OF TECH SPEECH

Anne Pruitt, director for the Center of Teaching Excellence at Ohio State University, will speak on "Faculty and Minority Student Retention" Friday from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Donaldson Brown Continuing Education Center at Virginia Tech.

Pruitt has been associate provost and associate dean of the graduate school at Ohio State. She has secured grants totalling more than $1 million to support graduate and professional study for minority students.

The continental breakfast and program is sponsored by the Equal Opportunity Office. Call 231-7518 for reservations. Reservations must be received by Wednesday.
