DALTON, OMA A.

Oma Akers Dalton, age 94, died Monday at her home. She was the widow of Oakley F. Dalton. Surviving are three daughters, Treva Loving, Roanoke; Ilectris Linkous, New River; Goldie Sutton, Fairlawn; three sons, Sidney Dalton, Cecil Dalton and James L. Dalton, all of New River; three sisters, Ersie Phillips, Willis; Opie Cox, Riner; Ora Dickerson, Radford; nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild also survive. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Fairlawn Grace Brethren Church with the Rev. Lester Kennedy and Rev. C. W. Huff officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Burial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Devilbiss Funeral Home.
