SHIELDS, KATIE L.

Katie Lou Shields, 55, died Monday in Waynesboro Community Hospital. She was born January 10, 1937, in Rockbridge County, the daughter of the late Orville Edward and Mary Collins Shields. She is survived by two brothers, James E. Shields of Greensboro, N.C.; and the Rev. Wallace C. Shields of Blacksburg. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 30 at the Stonewall Jackson Cemetery, Lexington, with the Rev. Wallace Shields and the Rev. William Crites officiating.
