JUVENILES ARRESTED IN GAS STATION ROBBERY
Three juveniles from Tazewell County have been arrested in connection with the armed robbery Monday night of the BP Service Station in Bland County.Two men, one wearing a ski mask and the other a gorilla mask, entered the station and ordered several customers to the floor. The intruders took an estimated $740 in cash before fleeing.
Trooper T.G. Graham was at another service station when he was told of the robbery. He pursued the suspect car on Interstate 77 into West Virginia, where Bluefield police assisted in making the arrests.
The stolen money, weapons and masks were recovered in the car. The three occupants were 16 and 17 years old.
