PRO-CHOICE EQUALS PRO-ABORTION
I HATE TO be the one to burst Susan E. King's bubble of warped perspective (letter, Jan. 21). But if she believes that abortion should be one of the choices a woman should be allowed to make, then deductive reasoning should tell her that she is pro-abortion. If not, then she would not want abortion to be one of the options. As far as the rights she says we, as females, are at risk of losing - not! The right to vote does not cost an unborn child his life. The right to hold public office does not result in babies being ripped to pieces by a surgical knife. The right to have equal employment opportunities and protection against sexual harassment does not lead to the murder of the innocent and helpless.
When a woman's choice goes beyond the boundaries of her own body and touches the body of the baby inside, the "right" is no longer hers. DEBBIE SPENCER ROANOKE
