BLACKBURN, ANNIE D.

Annie Duff Blackburn, 87, died Tuesday, January 28, at her home. She was born September 30, 1904, in Amherst County, a daughter of the late William and Polina Duff. She was the widow of Charles Leslie Blackburn and retired from Burlington Mills. She is survived by her son, Charles "Petie" Blackburn of Buena Vista; five sisters, Irene D. Fix, Lou V. Duff and Mariaha Duff, all of Buena Vista; Mae Staton of Lexington; Mary Miller of Roanoke; a special friend, Ethel Sheltman of Buena Vista; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 31, at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens.
