Mr. Cline Watson Kirby, age 86 of Roanoke, passed away January 27, 1992. He was born and raised in Paint Bank, Va. and retired after 43 years with the Norfolk & Western Railroad. Surviving are his wife, Grace Jefferson Kirby; daughter and son-in-law, Doris K. and Posey L. Montgomery, Roanoke; son and daughter-in-law, Russell R. and Dorothy M. Kirby, Salem; brother, W. Dewey Kirby, Narrows; two sisters, Lena Maude Reynolds, White Sulphur Springs, W. Va.; Ina Kirby Caldwell, New Castle; also surviving are six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church, Salem with the Rev. Wayne W. McCauley officiating. Arrangements were handled by the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem.
