WOODY, IRVIN O.
Irvin Omer Woody, age 86 of Roanoke County, died Wednesday, January 29, 1992. He was a member of Patterson Memorial Grace Brethren Church, and was a retired engineer, Norfolk Division, N & W Railway. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Ballard Woody; four sisters, Lucille W. Anderson, Estelle W. Robinson, Virginia W. Seltzer, all of Roanoke; and Pauline W. Kramer, Fredericksburg; one brother, Robert E. Woody, Lt. Col. Retired, U. S. Air Force, Cocoa Beach, Fla.; a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel 3:00 p.m. Friday, January 31, with the Rev. Don Eshelman officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Patterson Memorial Grace Brethren Church, Hollins. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday.
