SILCOTT, HARVEY J.

Harvey Johnson Silcott, age 71, of 4226 Tyree Avenue, N.W. died Wednesday, January 29, 1992. He was a retired employee of the Veterans Administration, Salem. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nellie Logan Silcott; one son, Steven W. Silcott, Salem; two daughters, Mrs. Mabel Webb, Virginia Beach; Mrs. Dolores Perkins, Elliston; three brothers, Murray Silcott and Melvin Silcott, both of Elliston; Arnold Silcott, Silver Springs, Md.; one sister, Mrs. Dorcas Eanes, Salem; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 1 with the Rev. J. Landon Maddex officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday.
