LANIER, ALMA L.

Mrs. Alma Louthen Lanier, age 68, formerly of Coalwood W. Va., passed away, Thursday, January 30, 1992 in a Roanoke hospital after a long illness. She was predeceased by her parents and one brother, Billy C. Louthen. She is survived by her husband, Clifford Edward Lanier; one son, Jackie A. Lanier, Sr., one grandson, Jackie Lanier, both of Buchanan; one brother, Thomas W. Louthen, Jr., Salem; three sisters, Virginia L. Wright, Roanoke; Jean L. Watkins, Salem; Mary L. Johnson, Coalwood, W. Va.; five half brothers, two half sisters. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel, 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 1, with the Rev. Ira Tolliber officiating. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Bluewell, W. Va. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday.
