LOVERN, ANNIE R.Mrs. Annie Rene Lovern, age 69 of Roanoke, died Thursday, January 30, 1992. Mrs. Lovern was a member of Mayflower Hills Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Lewis P. Lovern of Roanoke; two sons and daughter-in-law, Marvin L. Lovern of Germantown, Md.; Grover L. and Martha Lovern of Roanoke; two daughters and son-in-law, Robin A. Ballinger of Roanoke; Linda R. and Billy McMinis of Roanoke; six grandchildren, Wendy, Lee, Kevin, Jimmy, David and Sarah; three sisters, Mrs. Bessie McDonald of Copper Hill; Mrs. Vida Adkins of Vinton; Mrs. Virginia Crouch of Roanoke; a brother, Allen Vest of Floyd; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 3, 1992, at 11:00 a.m. at Oakey's Vinton Chapel with the Rev. Gene M. Hagenberger, Jr. officiating with burial to follow in Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
