TELEPHONE COMPANY DONATING STUFFED TOYS

United Telephone Co. is donating more than 70 stuffed animals to the Wythe County Rescue Squad for use in soothing children in emergency situations.

Tom Green, United's public affairs manager, said the company will be making similar donations to squads throughout its service area.
