TCBY TO ADD LINE OF COOKIES, BROWNIES
Along with its brand of frozen yogurt products, the TCBY store at 610 N. Main St. will offer the Mrs. Fields brand of cookies and brownies.
The store is one of the first in the United States to feature Mrs. Fields products, which will be baked on the premises each day, said store owner Brent Burger. "We're pleased to be the first franchised cookie store in the Blacksburg area," he said.
Mrs. Fields products were introduced in Arkansas TCBY stores in July 1991 and the company introduced the line to other franchisees at an international TCBY conference in September.
This is the first step in adding new menu items to the 1,800 TCBY stores in all 50 states and eight countries.
