1ST EWE AND RAM SALE CALLED A SUCCESS
The first New River Valley Commercial Ewe and Ram sale at Dublin was so successful that plans are under way for another sale to be held before Thanksgiving.Bred ewes averaged $87.08 per head and exposed ewes averaged $72.52, with several pens of pregnancy-tested ewe lambs bringing $95 per head, according to Pulaski County agent Richard White.
Rams averaged $136 and market lambs brought an average of $48.
