FIRST NATIONAL BANK OFFERS STOCK SPLIT
Continued growth at First National Bank resulted in each shareholder's receiving one additional share for each one held on Dec. 20, 1991.President and Chief Executive Officer Samuel H. Tollison said assets on Dec. 31 were up more than $15.8 million, an increase of 5.78 percent from 1990. Deposits grew 6.44 percent, or more than $15.9 million.
First National Bank is the fourth-largest independent bank in Virginia. It has six offices throughout the New River Valley.
