DARBY-FRIEND

Debbie Lynn Friend and Mark Allen Darby were united in marriage November 23, 1991, at Enon Baptist Church. Rev. William R. Harding, III, performed the ceremony. The reception following was held at the church. The matron of honor was Vicki Scott, friend of the bride. The bridesmaid was Becky Helms, also friend of the bride. The best man was Mike Weidman, friend of the groom. The usher was John Branch, uncle of the bride. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Wayne Friend of Roanoke. She is a graduate of Virginia Western Community College. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Keith Darby of Eleanor, W.V. He is a graduate of West Virginia State University. After a wedding trip to Charleston, S.C., the couple reside in Vinton, Va.
