The maid of honor was Amy Patterson, the bride's best friend. The bridesmaid was Lisa Sands, friend of the bride. Flowergirl was Angela Hall. The best man was John Massie, brother of the groom. The usher was Dan Pickette, the groom's best friend. The guestbook was attended by Jackie Hayslett. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Swain of Roanoke. She is a graduate of William Fleming High School, and is employed by Sears Telecatalog Center. The groom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Massie, Jr., of Orlando, Fla., serves in the United States Marine Corps. The couple honeymooned in St. Augustine and Disney World, Florida.
