MILLER-PROFFITT

Kara Elisha Proffitt and Michael Anthony Miller were married January 8, 1992, in the New Testament Baptist Church. Rev. J.E. Edwards performed the ceremony. The reception was held in the church. The best man was Johnny Miller, father of the groom. The bride, a daughter of James and Linda Rodkey, is attending Cave Spring High School. She is employed by Long John Silvers. The groom, son of Johnny and Ruth Miller, of Roanoke, is a graduate of Patrick Henry High School. He is in the U.S. Navy and is currently stationed in Athens, Greece.
