WRIGHT, JANIE G.

Mrs. Janie Graham Wright, age 75, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 1992 following a long illness. She was the daughter of Sarah Noell and Robert Graham. Mrs. Wright was a member of First Baptist Church and a retiree of the Roanoke City Schools. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mack H. Wright. Surviving are one sister, Sophronia E. Childress, Los Angeles, Calif.; three cousins, Thomas Noell, Hollins; Ernest and Jackie Marshall, White Sulfur Springs; and an adopted family, Richard Frances and Andrea Chubb, Roanoke; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Monday, 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church with Dr. K. B. Wright officiating with burial in Williams Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home. Hamlar-Curtis, Morticians.
