BURROUGHS, DOROTHY V.

Mrs. Dorothy Vernon Burroughs, age 78, died Friday, January 31, 1992. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Buchanan. She is survived by her granddaughter, Karen Louise Burroughs; a great-granddaughter, Melvon Burroughs; one brother, Leroy N. Jones, Sr., Salem; two sisters, Ruth N. Saunders, Edith N. Tyree, both of Buchanan; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 3, 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Donald K. Clayborne officiating. Interment will follow in the Mountain View Cemetery. A wake will be held Sunday from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the church. Arrangements by Rader Funeral Home, Buchanan.
