ALTIERI, FRANK

Frank Altieri, age 96 of Roanoke, died Saturday, February 1, 1992. He was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church, was a retired pipefitter with N. & W. Railway, was a member of Knights of Pythias and was a U. S. Navy veteran of World War I. He was predeceased by one son, Frank Altieri, Jr. in November 1991. He is survived by his wife, Rosa Damiani Altieri; one son and daughter-in-law, Anthony C. and Carol G. Altieri, Fincastle; one daughter and son-in-law, Nancy A. and James L. Harris, Atlanta, Ga.; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 3, with the Rev. Father Joseph H. Metzger, III officiating. Burial will be Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday.
