JONES, CREED E.

Creed Elbert Jones, age 90, of Franklin County died Saturday. Mr. Jones was retired from American Viscose and The City of Roanoke. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hettie St.Clair Jones, and a son, Kenneth Jones. Surviving are a daughter-in-law, Ann Y. Jones, Dayton, Ohio; a grandson, Keith B. Jones, Dayton, Ohio; a brother, Paul Morton Jones, Martinsville; a sister, Eva J. Turner, Rocky Mount; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Lotz Roanoke Chapel 12:00 noon Monday, February 3, 1992, with the Rev. Oscar Pugh officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Burial Park. The family suggests memorial donations be made to Fork Mountain Rescue Squad or your favorite charity. Friends may call at Lotz Roanoke Chapel Sunday from 12:00 noon until 9:00 p.m.
