REED, LILLIE P.

Lillie Poff Reed, age 78, passed away Friday in a Montgomery hospital. She is survived by her husband, Jewell C. Reed of Floyd; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Edsel Basham of Lebanon, Va.; son and daughter-in-law, Max and Louise Reed of Bassett; three brothers, John Poff of Floyd; Roscoe Poff and Arnold Poff, both of Christiansburg; two sisters, Letha Duncan and Dorothy Akers, both of Christiansburg; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday, February 3, 1992, at 11:00 a.m. at Gardner Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roy Turpin officiating. Interment will be in Beaver Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 7:00 to 8:00 at Gardner Funeral Home, Floyd.
