ROBERTSON LEADS BYRD TO WIN OVER GLENVAR

David Robertson had 21 points and 12 rebounds Saturday to power William Byrd to a 63-51 non-district boys' basketball victory over Glenvar.

The Highlanders (9-4) took a 19-12 lead in the first quarter, but William Byrd (8-6) outscored Glenvar 33-17 over the next two quarters to catch up and pull away.

Jason Woolwine and Steve Ashworth scored 11 each for Glenvar and Scott Highberger added 10. - Staff report
