APPALACHIAN STATE WOMEN DOMINATE MEET

Appalachian State won five events, William and Mary three and Hampton two Saturday in the Pepsi Women's Relays track and field meet in the Rector Fieldhouse on the Virginia Tech campus.

For Tech, Carlotta Thompson placed fifth in the 55-meter hurdles, and former Radford High School athlete Angie Edwards took fourth in the shot put. - Staff report
