The group New Kids on the Block is interrupting its tour Down Under to take on claims of lip-synching.

The group has requested a one-day delay of a concert Thursday in Brisbane, publicist Dianna O'Neill said Saturday.

"This postponement will allow them to return to Los Angeles and tackle head-on the accusations," she said.

New Kids arrived in Melbourne on Friday amid allegations they only sang about 20 percent of the music on the 1988 album "Hangin' Tough."

"It is so obvious that it's us singing on the record that it's totally ridiculous," said New Kid Donnie Wahlberg. "We really shouldn't even have to defend that."

Yes, Bud Light says, that really is his name. It's it and that's that.

"When I introduce myself as Bud Light, people say, `Yeah, right, and I'm Miller Lite,' " said the 32-year-old accountant, who was named after his father Bud Light Sr.

Not only does his name sound identical to the beer, but he works for the New Martinsville, W.Va., Miller beer distributor. Almost everyone has trouble taking Light's name seriously.

"A college buddy of mine came into town and tried to get my phone number from a phone booth," Light said. "When he asked the operator for the number of Bud Light, she hung up on him."

Award-winning musician and songwriter Bruce Hornsby and his wife, Kathy, have become the parents of twin boys.

The infants were born Thursday night at the Medical College of Virginia Hospital in Richmond. Russell Ives weighed 6 pounds, 1 ounce, and Keith Randall weighed 5 pounds, 10 ounces. Mother and children are doing well.

Hornsby, a Williamsburg native, and his wife moved back to Williamsburg from Los Angeles last year.

Hornsby is known for his songs including "The Way It Is" and "Mandolin Rain."
