VIRGINIA TECH PICKS UP DEFENSIVE LINE RECRUIT

Virginia Tech has received a football commitment from Waverly Jackson, a 6-foot-3, 265-pound defensive line prospect from Park View High in South Hill.

Jackson was one of five players at the top of the Roanoke Times & World-News list of the second 25 prospects in the state. He is one of 19 players to have committed to Tech. - Staff report
