MYERS, JAMES R.

James Roy Myers, age 62, of 5315 Alexander Drive, N.W., died Monday, February 3, 1992. He was the retired owner of Jim Myer's Upholstery Shop. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, James R. Myers Jr. and wife, Vickie, Jonesville, Va.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa M. Vilagi and husband, Christopher, Roanoke; Gail M. Schuler and husband, Jeffrey, Delray Beach, Fla.; his mother, Mrs. Marion H. Myers, Roanoke; two sisters, Mrs. Marlene (Mollie) Metts, Roanoke; Mrs. Barbara M. Burkholder, Roanoke; one brother, Charles R. Myers, Prince George, Va.; four granddaughters. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 5, with the Rev. Paul G. Gunsten officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday.
