COLONIAL DAYS THEME OF MUSICAL SHOWS
Colonial America will reappear twice in Wise County this month.The Williamsburg-based Virginia Company will present "Colony Days," a musical production moving from the 1607 English settlement at Jamestown to the 1781 British defeat at Yorktown, Feb. 18 at 7:30 p.m. at Clinch Valley College.
The company will perform "An Evening in a Colonial Virginia Tavern," with selections from English, Irish and Scottish music known in Virginia during the 17th and 18th centuries, Feb. 20 at 7:30 p.m. at Mountain Empire Community College at Big Stone Gap.
Tickets for both Pro-Art Association offerings are $4, general admission; $3, senior citizens, and $2, students.
