BRISTOL POET TO GIVE PROGRAM AT COLLEGE

Bristol poet Suzanne Underwood Clark will read from her works at Emory & Henry College Tuesday at 8 p.m. in the Calliopean Room of Byars Hall.

Clark has a master of fine arts degree from Johns Hopkins University. She is a part-time teacher at King College in Bristol, Tenn. Her work has been published in several anthologies as well as "The Writing Room," a book on the craft of fiction and poetry. She is the author of a non-fiction book, "Blackboard Blackmail."
