BUSH SHOULD SPREAD HIS AFFECTION

I WISH our president would share with Native Americans some of the warm affection he has shown another race whose land was taken from them by force and treachery.

The Native Americans also had great leaders, and I need not remind people who know history of their names. The Indians have left an enduring legacy to this country. POCAHONTAS H. MITCHELL ABINGDON
