CRAYOLA INTRODUCES WASHABLE CRAYONS
Relax, parents. When Junior makes a wall mural with his Crayolas, it now will come off with soap and water.Washable Crayola crayons, already advertised in parenting and women's magazines, will debut at the New York City Toy Fair later this month.
"Since we've started hearing from consumers, they've been saying, `Hey, there are crayon marks on the walls,' in their clothes, in their cars," said Crayola spokesman Mark O'Brien.
Crayola researchers developed a water-based crayon that looks the same as the standard crayon. Grown men and women colored on walls coated with a variety of paints and wallpaper to test different formulas.
