2 EVENTS ADDED TO GOLDEN OLYMPICS
Two events are being added to the 1992 Virginia Golden Olympics schedule: three-on-three basketball and coed volleyball.
Requests from participants prompted the additions, said Kim Davis, events chairwoman.
This year's olympics will again be held at Virginia Tech, May 25-30. And this is the only qualifying site in Virginia for the National Senior Games, which will be held in Baton Rouge, La.
Persons age 55 and older who are interested in competing may call Olympic Co-Chairman Andy Crane in Henrico County at (804) 673-5156.

Published correction ran on February 7, 1992.
Because of a writer's error, the title of Kim Davis, events chairman for the 1992 Virginia Golden Olympics, was incorrect in Thursday's New River Current.
