FOR THE RECORD

NationsBank Corp. and its subsidiary, NationsBanc Mortgage Corp. of Virginia, have different spellings. A story and photo caption on Wednesday's Business page used the same name for both companies.

Virginia First Savings Bank supplied outdated rates for a chart on interest rates published on Wednesday's Business page. The bank's rates are 4.5 percent for Money Market savings accounts, 4.3 percent for six-month certificates of deposit and 4.52 percent for one-year certificates of deposit.
