CRIME LINE

The attempted robbery of a Southwest Roanoke County restaurant is the subject of this month's Crime Line.

On Jan. 12 at 11:20 p.m., two men wearing ski masks tried to rob the Steak and Ale restaurant at 4167 Electric Road S.W. One robber is described as 5 feet 11 inches tall with muscular build. The other is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall with stocky build.

Rewards of up to $1,000 are being offered for information that leads to arrest and indictment in connection with this and other crimes. Anyone with information may call 344-8500 and give the information anonymously. The caller is given a number that is used for identification and need not give a name.
