ARTHUR, ROBERT PERRY

Robert Perry Arthur, age 83, of Roanoke died Thursday, February 6, 1992. He was a retired carpenter and a native of Bedford County. Survived by two sons, Robert H. Arthur, Botetourt County; Roger P. Arthur, Blue Ridge; three daughters, Mrs. Freida C. Gross, Mrs. Joyce A. Goad, both of Roanoke; Mrs. Lois A. Smith, York, Pa.; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Royal Arthur, Lynchburg; Samuel Arthur, Baltimore, Md. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 8 with the Rev. Robert E. Field officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel after 12:00 noon Friday.
