WOOD, CLYDE J.

CHRISTIANSBURG - Clyde Junior Wood, age 61, of Alpine Drive, died Thursday, February 6, 1992, in the V.A. Medical Center, Salem. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; two sisters, Loreane (Sis) Owens, Salem; Shelby Wood Conner, Christiansburg; seven brothers, Henry Wood, Paragould, Ark.; Roy Wood, Flint, Mich.; Stanley Wood, Irvin Wood, both of Roanoke, Walter Wood, Bently Wood, Alfred Wood, all of Christiansburg; two grandsons, Ricky and Lee Wood. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday from the Elliston Church of God, conducted by the Rev. Ronald King, with burial in the North Fork Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 Friday evening at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home.
